XThe
Church of The Incarnation is a Parish of The Holy
Catholic Church – Anglican Rite, and the See of The Diocese of The
Resurrection – HCC (AR).
XWe are The Body of Christ under the spiritual leadership of faithful Bishops in The Apostolic Succession, adhering to classical Anglo-Catholic doctrine and principles, which are anchored in the theology and liturgical language of The Book of Common Prayer, through the revision of 1928. We are spiritually descendent from the Church established in England within a few years of our Lord's Ascension in the First Century.
XWe worship according to the Western Rite Liturgy which has been approved for use in the Roman and Orthodox Churches fulfilling the concept of via media.
XWe subscribe to the Faith and Order of The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church as clearly expressed in the Apostles', Nicene and Athanasian Creeds; and we believe that The Holy Scriptures, as interpreted by The Ecumenical Councils of The Undivided Church, contain all things necessary to salvation.
XWe believe that the nature and will of God were revealed once and for all by His Divine Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and that this revelation recorded in Holy Scripture cannot and must not be altered or reinterpreted to meet the transient desires of man.
XWe receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, the Holy Eucharist, Holy Matrimony. Holy Orders, Penance and Unction of the Sick, as objective and effective signs of the continued presence and saving activity of Christ our Lord among His people and as His covenanted means for conveying His grace. In particular, we affirm the necessity of Baptism as incorporating us into Christ (with its completion in Confirmation as the "seal of the Holy Spirit"), and the Eucharist as the sacrifice which unites us to the all-sufficient Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross and the Sacrament in which He feeds us with His Body and Blood.
XThis Church is not endowed! It depends upon your offerings to meet its obligations, provide for your worship, and extend its outreach. Please be generous in your giving. We hope that you will come to know the great blessing of following the Biblical tithe as the standard for your stewardship of time, treasure and talent.
XWe welcome all who seek a firm and unchanging foundation for their Christian Faith in this confused and troubled world.
"As The Lord Taught; As The Apostles Proclaimed; As the Fathers Preserved!"
